HOSTING ON CAMPUS

HOSTING IT ON A DIFFERENT SERVER
The following sites are content management system sites, where you are able to design it right from your browser (see tables below). Many of the servers may have a webpage builder system for you to create your site that are listed with the domain name. SQUARESPACE
I am a big advocate for utilizing a system like Squarespace (http://squarespace.com). Based on the information available on the various websites, I would recommend the use of http://www.squarespace.com.
The following are key points for ease of use:
User friendly for varying technology skill sets: VERY user friendly visual editor
Cost effective for what is available for design, modules, storage space, and technical support
Ability to do quick edits - WYSIWYG
Ease of design development
Multiple elements & widgets available at the click of a mouse
Reliable up-time along with back-ups of data
Effective communication tools
Security of data and information
Multiple modules which may be integrated into the site (e.g., journal/blog, forum, file download, members only areas)
